Coolwave is the nom de guerre of Londoner Jack Shea, who's daydreams of sandy beaches, the warm afterglow at dusk and the time honored tradition of surfing have been lovingly captured with his debut 4 track EP.

Drenched in Beach Boys-esque surf pop, the incredibly optimistic, vibrant "Summer's Here" is full of nods to many New Zealand counterparts throughout the country's rich sonic history... the surprising factor is that instead of this coming out of the hallowed areas of Dunedin or the beaches of Auckland, it's a sheer coincidence that this was born in the United Kingdom. As remote to the antipodes as it is to us here down under.

Along with Serge Saint Rose, Shea's eager, youthful, exuberant mantra of "Summer's Here!" rings true with each listen - despite what season you may be encountering
